what a day..

Well for starts, I noticed i have a strange habit of quoting everything everybody has to say so just to see how othen i do it im keeping a little notebook with me and am tallying down every time i do it. So far tonight im at 30. hehe. hopefully i can break myself of this annoying habit by well blogging about it i guess. :)

On a sad note, i got a call from my mom today telling me that she is really sick with something and is on bed rest for a while. makes me feel bad for being so far away when shes not feeling well.

In other news, as i got on the bus today i made a fool of myself. i attached my awesome water bottle to my chef bag and it decided to hit every pole as i walked down the aisle. i was completely oblivious to this due to the fact i was jammin out. i was told by the heavily pierced fella across the way of this entire incident which made for and awkward and embarrassing bus ride to the transit center haha.

this lady right here was the highlight of my max ride to school :) she inspired me to go and get a hat :) yay!

to touch on more boring news, i have a ton of finals this week one of them being my knife cut final.... i dont think ive told you yet but i do hate cutting veggies up... luckily i only have 3 days left of this lame class. woot!! then on to winter break where i finally get to see my family! i miss them all so much i cant wait to see them, 5 more days and i can see their beautiful faces haha :) :)

stay classy,
Kayla <3

p.s.  My roomie Leann had some of her awesome friends from utah come and hang out with us for a few days. they made this video of their trip----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zok_zJdupcw its totally worth watching and made my, somewhat of a bad, day awesome :) miss you guys come and visit again soon!

“To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.” - Jim Valvano
